I have been wrestling with the idea of locking down the personal parts of the site. That would be the Journals, Photos, Projects and Videos.  Options were to leave them wide open, require a username and password or just set a password on the affected pages.  Since I am old school and choose not to let the entire world in on my bathroom face lift like the Facebook addicts option 1 was was not an option.  Settled on a simple password protection since it should be the least disruptive.  Technically the username/password would have been funner to implement though.  Subscribers will be receiving the password in an email with more details.  For you non-subscribers please send me a request for a prompt reply with the password.

If you have visited the site in the last few days you have undoubtedly seen some strange things.  I have switched my hosting company and the transition turned out to be a little messy.

Check out the new lyric snippet and see if you can guess the song.  Feel free to cheat and just click through and listen to it.  I think you will enjoy it.

Here in Boise we are three days into our fifth season. We now have fall, winter, spring, summer and smoky. Hazy skies all day with morning visibility of 5 miles or less. Plus all the aroma of a campfire without leaving town. Gotta’ love it.

It has been over a year since porting the site over to WordPress.  In the beginning there was a flash of activity.  Eventually, other priorities took over and the site languished.  Watching Collin videos on Father’s Day spurred me into action on resolving the issue of uploading videos.  That led to checking out a new theme.  The results are what you are looking at.  Although, this snazzing up has scrambled the formatting on various pages.  That’s what happens when you are a newbie and just playing around.  I am going through the tedious process of cleaning up where necessary.  Checkout the trilogy of Collin and Molly’s wedding at the top of this page.
