Laundry room project is over.  Time to celebrate.  See the update for photos.

Well, I am finally getting around to the laundry room project.  Read all about it by visiting the Projects page and enjoy the fun vicariously.

Many of you are probably looking at this photo and thinking what is so significant about it.  Look closer.  You might recall that the cabinet on the left holding the audio components was taller.  Twelve inches taller to be exact.  You can also discern that we are video luddites.  Evidence of that is the modern day equivalent rabbit ear antenna on top of the turntable (the thing that played music before MP3’s) feeding the signal to the behemoth, as in weight not dimensions, CRT TV.  Also, recognizable is a VHS tape player.  It even works.  Although, during this project something was rattling around inside and a sizable plastic lever of some sort falls out.  Try that with your smartphone.
