Broken Site and a New Tune

If you have visited the site in the last few days you have undoubtedly seen some strange things.  I have switched my hosting company and the transition turned out to be a little messy.

Check out the new lyric snippet and see if you can guess the song.  Feel free to cheat and just click through and listen to it.  I think you will enjoy it.

Bogus Basin

Woke up this morning to decent skies so the challenge of riding to Bogus was a go.  Had some concerns since my riding log isn’t quite as full as last year.  Although, I have made the ride to Hilltop four times this year.  Filled up the water bottles, tossed a Powerbar and Cliff bar into the jersey pocket and headed off at 8:15A.  Getting right to the point:

• Made the 15.5 mile climb in 1:00:07.
• Got passed by a few riders, even a couple that looked my age!
• Max speed on the downhill 37MPH!
• Even got passed on the downhill by a guy that was really cruising.
• Total time for the 41.4 mile ride 3:27:35.

Here in Boise we are three days into ourMargJuice-7-150 fifth season. We now have fall, winter, spring, summer and smoky. Hazy skies all day with morning visibility of 5 miles or less. Plus all the aroma of a campfire without leaving town. Gotta’ love it.

Check out the tweaks to the Name That Tune trivia. It has it’s own page with links to the tune for your listening enjoyment. Rock on!

Below the Name That Tune section notice that Subscribe thingy. That is going to save me the work of sending out email bombs informing my wide audience of updates. If you subscribe an email is automatically sent to you. If you don’t subscribe, well, you’ll just have to check back periodically.

It has been over a year since portPlnts-23-150ing the site over to WordPress.  In the beginning there was a flash of activity.  Eventually, other priorities took over and the site languished.  Watching Collin videos on Father’s Day spurred me into action on resolving the issue of uploading videos.  That led to checking out a new theme.  The results are what you are looking at.  Although, this snazzing up has scrambled the formatting on various pages.  That’s what happens when you are a newbie and just playing around.  I am going through the tedious process of cleaning up where necessary.  Checkout the trilogy of Collin and Molly’s wedding at the top of this page.

Cheers!
